I am a 17 yr old female. and for two days ive been suffering from sore throat. it legit kills me to swallow. what can i do?

See a doctor: Sore throat may be caused by viral or bacterial infection, and treatment depends on the cause. Best to see your doctor for examination, appropriate tests and treatment.

Short term/long term: Right now you could gargle with a thick salt solution to strip some of the irritated dead skin off your tonsils & spray some throat spray to quell the pain. A trip to the doc for a strep test would be worthwhile to see if it needs treatment.You are still in an age group where rheumatic fever from untreated strep is a risk.
