Highly unusual: Although reported, I have yet seen a case of dermatitis relapsing beyond the site of the test. There is no better way than to replicate the actual reaction on your skin from contact. Blood tests such as lymphocyte stimulation will be expensive if available and only serve as supportive evidence. Even the most severe dermatitis can be controlled with a short course of steroid.
