Aside from...: ...Removing the contactant (which is pretty obvious), corticosteroids - either topical or oral or both - are the mainstays of treatment. Make sure the person prescribing them is either a dermatologist or someone equally skilled in using corticosteroids; many physicians have never been properly trained in their use.
