STILL POSSIBLE: Many times, IV antibiotics are required for six weeks. But, after one week, your white count should be less and you shouldn't have a fever. Your albumin should be looked at for healing. Your doctor should look at the "total lymphocyte count." Check foot pulses for circulation; you may need a Doppler test. If not improving, should get a bone sample verifying bacteria. Good luck! Dr. Latva
