Possibly, but...: So far, hormonal treatment for sex offenders (even castration) has not been shown to reliably diminish the urge to repeat sexual behaviors. This may be because it's not about the sex but about power and control. However, there are all sorts of sexual offenses (think public exposure through rape), so generalizations are tricky, at best.
