Laser liposuction: I think you are referring to laser liposuction. I'm not very familiar with the technology, but I understand that its depth of skin penetration is limited to about 1/2 inch and so should not affect the liver. More importantly, if you are considering this procedure, use a board a board-certified plastic surgeon, and discuss risks and benefits with them and your primary clinician. Hope that helps.
