Depends: This really depends on the root cause of the neuropathy to begin with. Do you know what it is? The medications are not likely treating the cause of the neuropathy so again if the reason for what's going on is known and can be either reversed or improved perhaps, chronic medication use may not be necessary beyond a certain time.
