Try not to worry!: Apparently you didn't believe or understand my previous reply to the same question, so I'll try again. Myocarditis is an infrequent cause of sudden death, even in people with various illnesses with fever. By far the most common cause of early death is trauma: accident, violence, etc. So try not to worry about your heart -- and don't forget your seat belt!
