i am having spasms in the right side of my body just below my rib cage. it hurts too. what could it be?

Muscle spasm: It may be a muscle spasm, possibly brought on by strenuous activity. Try warm compresses at 15 min intervals or Ibuprofen taken with food. If it persists, see a doctor for a prescription muscle relaxer.
