Difficult call: Dolobid is a salicylate (like aspirin) and ib\uprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID). Salicylates are NSAIDS and both these drugs share the same properties. Nerve pain is a difficult issue since it often requires an entirely different class of drugs .Talk it over with your physician if you are self-medicating. Good luck.
