A member asked:

Can i eat shrimp with beer or other sparkling wine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

This is more a ? for: the waiter or wine steward than it is for a doctor. Of course you can. You can eat it with water, pepsi or seltzer, for that matter. There are no interactions between shellfish and any form of alcohol. Beer, by the way, isn't a sparkling wine so it isn't "other," but the question should be HOW MANY BEERS. Safe consumption is fewer than 7 standard drinks/week for women, less than 3/occasion.
