Depends/definitions: If you define "live baby" as conception the numbers are hard to document. An estimated 3rd of conceptions never make it to the uterus, attach and start a pregnancy & are shed/aborted naturally.Others shed in the first few weeks when things don't work out. Add the estimated 20% or so that are aborted by man and the numbers are quite high.
