Yes: When you have diarrhea your body loses potassium, magnesium and other minerals and fruits and vegetables are the best way to restore these nutrients. They are also a good source of fiber which can help reduce diarrhea. Avoid prunes, cherries and other fruits that act as laxatives. Cooked vegetables may be easier to digest than raw veggies when you have diarrhea but avoid fried foods.
