Birth control pills: BCP's are designed to regulate the hormonal balance of menstruation so that your period comes once a month, by design , but without ovulation in that cycle. I would have a long talk with your OB to find out what is the safest approach with simultaneous steroid therapy, since that could affect the action of birth control in a potentially negative fashion. Talk to your OB for advice !!
