CXR will confirm dx: Health Care provider will order a chest xray (CXR) if they want to confirm or rule out Pneumonia. Cold viruses can cause symptoms that seem like pneumonia & patients can have significant bronchitis symptoms associated with wheezing. When listening to a patient's lungs who has asthmatic bronchitis, it is sometimes difficult to diagnose pneumonia & CXR may be ordered.Treatment depends on report

Chest: radiograph is used to check for lung infection. It is a pretty routine examination for somebody with symptoms. In children it can be replaced with ultrasound.
