Yes: Methadone does not prevent athletic activity.However, most men taking methadone have reduced serum testosterone levels as a result of that drug therapy.In addition to reducing sex drive and performance, which is bad enough, that also reduces muscle-building benefit of exercise.The hypogonadism is easily treated with testosterone supplementation, but it must first be diagnosed by simple blood test.
