I am on methadone treatment, i take 30ml dailey. the biggest problem i have is sleepiness , to the point that i even can not see properly any help?

Decrease your dose: Given the sedative quality of the Methadone with you, i would consider reducing your dose before you have other side effects like decreasing your ability to breathe.

Possible sleep apnea: Methadone can induce sleep apnea in susceptible individuals. You therefore need a laboratory sleep study to find out if you have obstructive sleep apnea or central sleep apnea. Both of them would need to be treated. Both can cause excessive daytime sleepiness.

Time of day and dose: If you are on a Methadone take-home program, you may do better with taking it late in the afternoon or evening rather than in the morning. The only other option i can think of to reduce sleepiness is to with supervision gradually cut back on the dose. Vision would also likely be less affected by a lower dose.
