Isnt there some way to have skype visit for routine ob care? hard to find sitters in the summer.

Not practical: If prenatal care was only a discussion i suppose skype would work...But it isn't. Visits include checking urine for protein, BP checks, weight assessments, & hands-on exams of fetal position, growth, and heart rate patterns. Many of the important aspects just can't be done via video conference. Sorry, but talk to your OB regarding the number of visits, maybe you can have fewer. Good luck.
