Time for evaluation: If you haven't had a chest x ray, it would be a good start. You can have what is called increased vocal fold sensitivity after a cold, but that should last about this long. Other considerations are allergy, sinusitis, and reflux. Allergy and asthma should have at least temporarily improved on steroids. Seeing an ENT can frequently be a good start when dealing with chronic cough
