Relax ! : The pain you are experiencing can be voluntary and can be relieved by relaxation techniques. If you have involuntary spasm of the vagina, called vaginismus, muscle relaxants may be needed to help. Losing your virginity requires breaking a membrane within the entrance to the vagina called the hymen, which is almost always painful, but once it happens, gets better over time. See your OB GYN about it
