Teething: Thats the perfect age for teething, so likely that. Also, might be reflux related. Discuss with your pediatrician to see if needs to be evaluated.

Curious statement: Why would you localize her problem to her throat ? A 6 mo infant can be fussy for a number of reasons.Food intolerance, reflux acidity, abdominal cramping,etc.Without a review of her history/feeding pattern and exam , you can't tell much.
