Ciprofloxacin: Ciprofloxacin - I assume that's the drug - and all fluoro-quinolones should generally be avoided when pregnant. No proof of harm in humans exists, but cartilage damage associated with ciprofloxacin have been reported in immature animals of various species, giving concern over possible toxic effects on human fetal bone formation.
