Reactive Lymphnodes: Lymph nodes are a part of our immune system. When we get ill, they rev up and can increase in size and sometimes be a little tender. The lymph nodes closest to the area of infection tend to be most affected. In small kids (especially if they are really lean), even when they are healthy it is often easy to feel their lymph nodes in their neck area. This is OK. If in doubt consult her pediatrician.
