Any information or advice on lichen planis ? i was just diagnosed and my doctors are not too familiar with it

See a dermatologist: Dermatologists know plenty about it. Sometimes it is a reaction to a medicine, sometimes a reaction to a virus.. Many cases are of unknown cause. Do you have it in your mouth? Genital area? Arms and legs? Severe itch? The details are important and you have given none.
