A member asked:

As i have cirousis in the liver and it is currently stable, will i have any complications in the future?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: Ccirrhosis hopefully stable but question of origin arises. If it is from hepatitis C then progression to formation of hepatoma can occur. If due to alcohol and has now ended then progression may be very slow. One has to be sure that progression to portal hypertension, with ascites and esophageal varicies do not prove to be the end result.
