Cavity: Your TMJ would not hurt after eating sweets. A cavity, loose filling, or cracked tooth could be the culprit(s). Please call a local dentist for an appointment so that you can be diagnosed correctly and treated promptly. All the best....

Dental Pain: If the the nerve (pulp) of the tooth has become irritated, this can cause pain in your tooth, ear and TMJ. See a dentist for diagnosis and treatment because, if left untreated, your condition can worsen.
