Fluid: It appears that you have fluid retention caused by hormonal fluctuations. Abstain from salt as much as possible and if irregular periods continue, consult your gynecologist. A mild diuretic may be prescribed if severe fluid retention continues. Take Tylenol (acetaminophen) for headache relief (which is also caused by fluid retention).
