Esophagus?: I wonder if you don't have something wrong with your esophagus, the food pipe that connects your mouth to your stomach? These pains frequently occur more often at night, and would be missed if only a chest X-ray and EKG were run. Inflammation of the esophagus can best be determined via an EGD, a scope procedure run by a gastroenterologist. Speak with your doctor.
