Tendinitis of FDL/TA: Where I ur knee is the pain? If it is towards the bk, it sounds like u cd have strained the Flexor Digitorum Longus (FDL) tendon which runs from behind the knee to the medial (inner) part of the mid foot. If the pain is in the front, u cd have strained the tibialis anterior (TA) tendon instead, also known as "runner's knee" or "shin splints". Ice the area & rest; if not better in 2 wks, TTYD. GL.
