No.: Unless you are a professional athlete - earning your living from sports - it makes no financial or health sense to injure yourself repeatedly. I suggest you see a competent sports med provider and rehab your injury before deciding whether to continue or not...

Get PT: You may have Chondomalacia patellae. Which makes Knee some what weak and painful with Physical Exertion.There fore Physical Therapy will help.

I don't think so: For you to have to take that much ibuprofen day in and day out, in my opinion is not worth the risk of developing bleeding ulcers. I feel the therapy is certainly worth the hassle....but not if he you have to take medication for it...
