You do not need: to wait . Follow the instructions on the label of the medications bottles.

Switch to tylenol (acetaminophen): acetaminophen/ Tylenol is safer to take with cipro (ciprofloxacin). Cipro (ciprofloxacin) and alive can cause seizures so I would not recommend that combination. Good luck

Ask your doctor: Who put you on Cipro (ciprofloxacin). Cipro (ciprofloxacin) has some serious side effects with bone, and if you have pain your doctor needs to be made aware of it, and recommend to you which pain medications you can take along the Cipro (ciprofloxacin) safely. Don't forget to also use a probiotic if you're on Cipro (ciprofloxacin), so that you can take care of your gut microbiome.

Avoid this: Since you are already taking Ibuprofen you should not take aleve. They are both nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs and should not be taken together at the same time. If you are having fever take aspirin or tylenol (acetaminophen) or drink fluids and let the antibiotic start to work.
