How dangerous to take methotrexate and cipro (ciprofloxacin)? should methotrexate dose be reduced?

Yes, by specialist: The combination can result in increased levels of Methotrexate & possible toxicity. The doc who prescribed it/them (rheumatologist or oncologist) will review your case, possibly do some blood work, & adjust mtx dose accordingly. Be sure to tell docs all the meds you take—otc, rx, vitamin/mineral supplements, herbal supplements, etc.
