Oral surgeon: youll want and oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He or she will provide the anesthetic as well as do the surgery. Ask them their experience and talk to previous patients. Do not smoke during recovery

Of course he/she can: Periodontist are dentists with 3 additional years of specialty education who specializes in the treatment of periodontal disease, and in the placement of dental implants. Extraction of teeth and implant placement is within the scope of periodontist.
