It may ....: A surge of hormones in puberty is usually blamed for "baby fat"--the increased level of estrogen causes certain areas of the body to fill out quickly. If you have yet to hit your growth spurt, it may be more likely that your "chubby cheeks" will dissolve. I'm happy to hear you are fit, and presumably eating a healthy diet.
