What will happen if a dog with a lapsed rabies shot licks my baby in the mouth?

Probably nothing: Lack of Rabies shot is not synonymous with the disease itself. The dog has to be symptomatic with symptoms to cause Rabies. At the most you should have the dog be observed, just like you would do in case if a bite. Good luck.

Probably nothing.: Rabies from domestic pets is very uncommon in most places in the US, including Los Angeles County. And if the dog is friendly the chances of rabies is less. See or call your doc. See http://publichealth.lacounty.gov/vet/rabiesmanual/introduction.htm

Probably nothing: If the dog is still alive in 10 days you are in the clear from rabies.
