Rabies is acquired usually from the bite of a rabid animal or from animal saliva getting on a minor cut or scratch. There are very very rare reports of transmission to people who were in the vicinity of a rabid animal but never physically touched. So, possibly yes. Given near 100% fatality rate of infection, I’d urge you get full series, regardless how low the theoretical risk
