Totally depends...: ...on which cleanser you are using more than the water temperature. You have to really do your research while in the skin care aisle of the store, but there are gentle cleansers for oily but sensitive skin, as well as the "big gun" strong stuff that will really aggressively strip your skin of oils. But those can be countered by /supplemented with gentle astringent & non-comedogenic moisturizer.

Use: warm water with your cleanser as it opens up pores to cleanse better. I would then rinse with cold water to close the pores. Best of luck!
