I had an oopharectomy on monday for a persistent ovarian cyst. now i seem to be having contractions. why is this? should i worry?

Post surgical: irritation.. Sometimes, the uterus muscle can become irritable due to blood or the location of surgery. They also often place a small instrument in the uterus to move it around to help during the surgery. They can irritate the uterine muscle.. take some ibuprofen and drink plenty of water. that may help
