Oligomenorrhea: Some other possibilities besides pregnancy include taking oral contraceptive pills, being overly thin, or exercising too much. You should see your doctor if your periods occur more than 45 days apart or you have no period for three months. A single ovarian cyst is unlikely to be related to abnormal periods.
