See your doctor: It is often a lipoma and it occurs more often in overweight individuals but it can occur in anyone. Ask your doctor to check you to make sure it is not something that needs treatment.

See your doctor: That's unusual to have a mass that size on your left rib cage, and on your right ribs. Your doctor could check through physical exam what you might be referring to. Good that it's painless. Have it checked!

Lipoma: If the mass is painless and soft ,slippery and does not affect the overlying skin, then this is a lipoma. They are usually left alone. can be multiple. also they can grow over years to a size of a palm
