Many: No sunscreen can truly screen out all UVB rays which makes the skin dark. Those with titanium or zinc would work the best. Wear wide-brim hat may help but do realize that the court surface can reflect light onto your face. There are bleaching creams to lighten the skin but likely not practical with too much sun exposure. Avoid playing between 11-1 pm. Choose early a.m or late afternoon.

Skin darkening...: In and of itself is not "damage" per se. It's an appropriate life-saving protective reaction. Thank goodness you can make pigmentation! For further medical guidance, please come back with a representative that is older than 16 yo, per stated HealthTap+ policy. Take care!

Need more than cream: For regular exposure to the sun, cover your body with a white fabric, use sunscreen on exposed skin and wear a large-brimmed hat. Damage from the sun is cumulative and definitely causes cancer. A dermatologist can guide one with treatment to reverse chronic skin damage.

Ok: Unless you notice some ares that are truly damaged, this sounds like a normal response to sun Exposure.
