If when travelling west we gain time, does that mean that we can go to bed easy and get up refreshed in the morning?

Time & sleeping: Time zone changes effect travelers because of adjusting to a different time for waking, sleeping, working If you sleep 8 hours (480 minutes, you sleep 480 minutes, even though the time zone changes & it appears to be less). The problem of jet lag is often discussed & it can disrupt routines only because of the difficulty in adjusting to the new zone. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jet_lag#Cause
