Distance: What distance are you training for?? First you must have a good base.Then you must work up to this going slower at first and shorter distances and fewer repeats. A ladder is a good workout. Example:100m x3,recover,200m x3,recover,400mx2,recover,800mx1, recover,then go back down reversing the order.As you get better you can raise pace and repeats, and distance.Sets of only 800's are great.Good luck
