Call doctor: Depending on which preventative inhaler you have, it may help to take 2 puffs from it, some have bronchodilators in them. In any case it won't hurt. Then contact your doctor or get to medical help if possible. Remain calm if possible, breathe through your nose. If you are in an area with a known asthma trigger, leave that area.
