A member asked:

What should i do if blood gets into the insulin pen that i use?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Insulin pen: Surely there is only a small amount of insulin that ever gets in to your pen. In that case you don't need to worry but you must cover the site that you injected just in case there is more bleeding. Unlikely! Do you type 1 or type 2 diabetes? Have you considered an insulin pump? The technology is moving forward very quickly. Talk to your doctor.
