A member asked:

What pain medications work best and have the least risk of dependency?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pain medication: One of the best way to relieve acute pain is to alternate Advil or Motrin with Tylenol. Like all medications they should not be used long term with out consulting a doctor as Advil and Motrin can cause increased bleeding and Tylenol can cause liver damage, but they are not addictive and the combination works better to receive pain and inflammation than many narcotics.
