Shuld little kids watch sad movies, like animals dying?

NO: Children are very impressionable and they should be watching fun things.Whatever happened to the common sense of raising kids in time tested approaches?

Depends: You don't say how little the child is or the context. Mr. Roberts did a wonderful show on a dead goldfish was aimed at 5-6 yo. Death happens, and learning about how people deal with it is a task children eventually need to master. Nearly all the disney classics have a death (usually mom) in the plot, if your child watches such fare, be involved & answer question that arise at the level asked.
