Many. All depend on : the reason for surgery. Please list the ones you are curious about. The most common is bilateral myringotomy, incision of the eardrum, & insertion of Pressure Equalization Tubes for infants & children age 6 mos.-12 yrs. with Otitis Media with Effusion lasting 3 or more months with documented Conductive Hearing Loss. See www.m.oto.sagepub.com/content/149/1_suppl/S1 for other criteria for PE Tubes.
