Pain on urination: Most likely he will have some pain on urination for a few days until the surgical wound heals. How well he will tolerate it depends ob the chills and his age, and how well the pain medicines prescribed by his urologist work. Kids are amazingly resilient and seem to recover from surgery much faster and better than us grown ups! Hopefully a urologist at Healthtap can give his answer to your question too.
