Aqueous humor: The cornea is solid and has no internal fluids,. A cut all the way through will release the fluid from the front of the eye termed aqueous humor which bathes the lens, iris and inside of the cornea. It is under pressure and will seep out if the cornea is cut. This is a dangerous situation and requires immediate evaluation by an ophthalmologist to prevent infection and damage.
